Spending a Gift Days Out Gift Card

I have a Gift Days Out Gift Card, how do I find out the balance on my card?
Just register your card in the ‘Register Card’ section of this website and you will find the ‘Check Balance’ section. Alternatively call 0870 446 1159, or click our button on the home page of the website.

I have a Gift Days Out Gift Card and I’d like to spend the money on the card.
Take a look at the Gift Days Out Partner Attractions featured on the website and decide which one you’d like to visit. You might also want to consider choosing a set date to visit as many attractions have extra perks on certain dates throughout the year. However to give you flexibility to visit the attraction of your choice whenever you want, just choose a Fully Flexible Ticket. These are set at the normal gate rate of the park or attraction. Once you have made your choice of an Extra Perk or Fully Flexible ticket then proceed with your order on the website.

I have a Gift Days Out Card but the total cost of the tickets I’d like for the attraction of my choice is more than the amount on my Gift Days Out Gift Card, can I pay the difference?
No problem.  Go ahead and process your order for the tickets you’d like and when you come to the ‘checkout’ you will be asked to enter your Gift Days Out Gift Card number, and the amount from your card will then deducted from your total. You will then be asked for the details of a credit or debit card to complete your transaction.

Why should I register my card?  does this activate it?
No, your card is already activated when purchased.  Registering your gift card means that if you lose it, we have a record of your card number and who it belongs to.  We also send out special offers from time to time to our account holders, so you may benefit from these.  Your gift card will have a balance loaded onto it when you first register it.  Once your balance expires, your account is then deleted.  Please see below for expiry information.

Does my card expire?
Yes.  One year after the date of purchase (not the date you registered the card with us).  This is also called date activated.  So, you have been given a free credit effectively, to use for one year, on any ticket that we sell.


Buying Tickets

I love the service offered by the Gift Days Out Ticket Centre, can I just buy attraction tickets from Gift Days Out?
Yes, you don’t have to have a Gift Days Out Card to buy tickets from us. You can pay for tickets using credit and debit cards or send a cheque. Tickets are not issued until monies are cleared.

I have a Fully Flexible Ticket for the attraction I chose but I have changed my mind and would like to go to a different Gift Days Out Partner Attraction, can I change my choice?
Sorry, once you have decided on the attraction you’d like to visit we are unable to exchange or refund your tickets - we will have already paid the attraction on your behalf.   Just like when you purchase a theatre or cinema ticket.  Because the Gift Days Out Gift Card has so much choice, be sure to wait until you are definite about your choice of attraction. We can usually get tickets to you within 3-5 days of you making a booking; you should make sure you give yourself plenty of time to receive the tickets in readiness for your trip.

What happens once I place my order for entrance tickets?
For ticket orders, at the end of your order we suggest you print out your order form showing what you have chosen.  We also send you a confirmation email to say your order has been placed on our system. Your Gift Days Out voucher will then be sent to you via first class post. This will show you the date/s you have booked, or if it is a Flexible ticket the dates you can use it between.  It should take between 2 to 5 days to process your order. Please allow plenty of time for your tickets to arrive. If you do not receive a confirmation email or if your vouchers for tickets do not arrive within 7 days then please call 0870 446 1159 or email info@giftdaysout.com

Can I cancel my booking?
As with most ticket agencies, once you have your printed ticket then we cannot exchange this ticket.  This is because we will have paid the attraction for your ticket already.

Can I cancel/exchange/refund my booking if the weather is disappointing?
If you have a date specific ticket then no, you must visit on that date. However if you have a Fully Flexible Ticket then as long as you have not entered the attraction (and exchanged your Gift Days Out voucher for entrance tickets) then you can visit on another date within your date range.   Once you have exchanged your Gift Days Out voucher for entrance tickets at the attraction you are committed to visiting that attraction on that day.

Many of the Gift Days Out Partner Attractions have indoor activities and therefore disappointing weather should not spoil your whole day.
